Medical records are lengthy and annoying. They come in all shapes and sizes (scanned/faxed documents, PDFs, etc...), and at different times (half the job is chasing down the records). This makes the job of reviewing medical records and generating summaries and chronology extremely tedious.

How does this affect surrogacy agencies?

Surrogacy agencies screen and match potential surrogates with intended parents. They spend hours to read through every single medical record. Consequently, intended parents have to wait a long time for the agency to find a potential match (and they'll likely have fewer options to choose from).

As you can imagine, not only is it time consuming for agencies, it's frustrating for intended parents.

Goals

  • Speed up the potential surrogate screening process, ultimately reducing the time that intended parents spend waiting.
  • Increase productivity of medical records specialists by leveraging AI to expedite chronology reports and summaries.
